Sports Therapist Andrew McKenna
Andrew has worked with people from all different sports and backgrounds. Local clients include athletes from Milton Keynes athletics club, and Wellingborough athletics team.
He has also performed sports massage at running and triathlon events to help participants recover following their race.
Andrew has recently been chosen to help a member of the RAF in her preperations in becoming the first woman in history to complete the gruelling arch to arc race which involves running from Marble Arch to Dover, swimming across the english channel and then cycling the rest of the way to the Arc de Triomphe.
Qualifications and Training
Andrew is a fully qualified sports and remedial massage practioner (lssm dip) and member of the institute of sport and remedial massage (isrm) as well as a graduate of human biology (bsc hons) and ex-international endurance runner.
In 2003 as a reward for his academic and athletic achievement Andrew was awarded a sports scolarshp by the university of Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States. He spent 2003 competing in athletics around the states and studying for a certificate in microbiology.
